Fixed SSL / TLS bug
The worm was in the slowly decaying Microsoft Windows 7: CUR3D no longer started with Windows 7 customers. This problem has now been solved with CUR3D version 3.0.2.0.
What happened?
Since Windows 7 has not been supported by Microsoft since 2020, it no longer receives any important security updates. In order to be able to establish a secure connection to web applications, websites and web services (such as our copy protection) use a secure channel based on TLS 1.2+, which is no longer supported by Windows 7 without further ado. Thanks to our customers, we were able to locate the error and fix it.
In order for our Microsoft Windows 7 customers to be able to enjoy CUR3D again, we had to adjust our security measures a little. Starting with CUR3D version 3.0.2.0, every Microsoft Windows 7 customer will be able to use CUR3D again.
If you continue to have problems with CUR3D, please let us know immediately. To do this, please send an email.
